Applications are welcome for the Schwarzman Scholarship 2020-2021. Apply for the most prestigious, famous and best-paid scholarship in China. Schwarzman Scholarship offers scholarships to study for free at Tsinghua University in Beijing. There are no IELTS or other language requirements if you have studied at an English institute.

Schwarzman Scholarship is a free scholarship to study in China for students of all nationalities and all types of studies. Up to 200 scholarships are awarded each year to cover all expenses for the duration of the course. The mission of Schwartzman researchers is to create a network of leaders who will serve as bridges between China and the rest of the world.

The most important thing is that there is NO GPA requirement for a Schwarzman scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria

  • The Schwarzman Scholars program at Tsinghua University is intended only for studying a Master’s program.
  • The duration is one year.
  • Candidates who are currently enrolled in undergraduate programs must be in the process of completing all degree requirements by August 1, 2019.
  • There are no requirements for a specific area of undergraduate study; all areas are welcome.
  • Age Requirements: Applicants must be at least 18 years of age but less than 29 years of age as of August 1 of the year in which they enroll in the Schwarzman Scholars program.
  • English language :
  •  (TOEFL PBT). A minimum score of 600. OR
  • Test of English as a Foreign Language on the Internet (TOEFL iBT). A minimum score of 100. OR
  • International English Language Testing System (IELTS). Minimum score 7. OR
  • Proficiency in English: This requirement does not apply to applicants who have studied at an undergraduate institution where the primary language of instruction was English for at least two years of the applicant’s university program.
