- 250 g beef, thinly sliced
- 300 g water morning glory
- 2 tbsp. lemon grass stalk, thinly sliced
- 1 tsp. galangal, sliced thinly
- 1 tsp turmeric, thinly sliced zest of ¼ kaffir lime
- 4 garlic clove
- 2 tbsp Krasaing seeds
- 1 tbsp Prahok, chopped
- 2 tbsp fish sauce
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp salt
- 4 cups water
Beef Sour Soup with Water Morning Glory
Recipe is ready to cook. Remove old leaves of water morning glory from their stems and through away, keep the tip leave. Crash its stalk with big knife and cut about 4 cm long, wash and drain.
Fry recipe and Prahok with oil in a pot over a medium low heat and add a bit of water when the smell bring out from the recipe of aroma intensifies add sliced beef and fry for a while, season with salt and sugar. Allow it to cook until meat is done.
Then add the rest of water and continues to boil, simmer for 5 minute by which time the beef should be very tender. Add water morning glory when it turn seal add Krasiang seeds and remove from the heat.
Sometimes at some restaurant around country, eggplant is replaces. Add some place there.
